Food Services Assistant: Shopper

Be a hero to our community and help our Food Services team!
We need someone who loves food and doesn’t mind doing a little shopping to make our community food programs a success.
Responsibilities
- Discuss grocery items needed for food programs with Director each week
- Create grocery list based on meals planned
- Shop for the best deals on grocery list items
- Purchase items using funds provided by ministry
- Transport items to facility
- Store purchased items in organized and appropriate kitchen locations
- Notify Director of any missing or needed items
- Track inventory and report when routine items are low
- Take picture of grocery receipts and email them to appropriate email address
**Ideally, you will pick up the Director, shop with them, transport the items to the facility, store the items and then take the Director home.**
Qualifications
- Dependable
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to shop for and deliver food supplies to facility
- Ability to work as part of a team
