We're a ministry (with a church).
We love church (which is why we have one!). We love ministry more. It's a subtle but important difference for us.

Today's Daily Anointed Reading

Christ is Our Judge

For we must all stand before Christ to be judged and have our lives laid bare before him. Each of us will receive whatever he deserves for the good or bad things he has done in his earthly body.

2 Corinthians 5:10 (TLB)

Today's Thought

When we die, we must all stand before Christ to answer for our actions on Earth, in our earthly bodies. Christians will not be judged for their sins because they chose to be saved by grace through faith, by accepting Jesus Christ as their personal savior. They will not face condemnation and punishment because Christ paid the price for their sins when He died on the cross. Christians will be judged for their actions, how they lived their lives. However, those that did not accept Jesus Christ as their personal savior will stand before the Great White Throne, before Him, and face judgment and condemnation.

Our choices do have consequences and some of them will be grave. God’s word states that whosoever believes in His son would not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16). It also states that he who does not believe the Son and chooses to reject Him, [disobeying Him and denying Him as Savior] will not see [eternal] life, but [instead] the wrath of God hangs over him continually (John 3:36).

Today's Faith Affirmation

I will live my life trying to be pleasing to God, knowing that I will be judged by Christ in the end based on the life I lived.
