Reflection

What determines value? Ask the average person and they’ll tell you value is determined by what someone is willing to pay or do to get something. When you’re healthy, you’re not willing to pay for medications you don’t need. But if your child were diagnosed with a terminal disease, there’s no limit to what you’d pay for a cure.

Well know this — Christ paid the highest price for you. Your worth is not measured by your productivity, your income, your appearance, or your achievements. Christ assigns value based on His love, not your performance.

When He looks at you, He sees someone worth investing in. Someone worth shaping. Someone worth protecting. Someone worth calling. You’re not disposable. You’re not replaceable. You are deeply valued by the One who knows you best.

Prayer

Father in Heaven, remind us of our value. Help us to release every false measure of worth that world uses and pick up the truth that we’re priceless in your eyes. God, you value us so highly you gave your one and only son to die for our sins so we could be restored into a right relationship with you. Strengthen us to live in that truth. In Christ Jesus name I pray, Amen.
