Reflection

At the core of our identity as Believers is this truth: we belong to Christ. Not to our past. Not to our mistakes. Not to people’s opinions or fear. We are His — loved, claimed, and held securely.

When God looks at you, He sees His child. His creation. His beloved. You are his workmanship, servant, friend, and vessel. Belonging to Christ means you’re never without covering, direction, or identity. You’re rooted in a relationship that cannot be broken by outside forces or lost from enemy attacks. You belong to Him and he will always hang on to you when you hang on to him. It’s his promise and he never fails.

Prayer

God, we thank You that we are Yours and you’re ours. Help us to remember you’re our shield when we feel attacked and our shelter when we feel exposed. Remind us that we can trust you no matter what our situation looks like and you will never give up on us as we remain faithful to you. In your loving son Jesus name, we pray. Amen.
