COVID-19 Update

March 17 2020

Ministries of Christ will keep feeding program open but close large gathering services.

LOUISVILLE, KY. As Believers, we trust our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in all things - especially in knowledge, wisdom, understanding and healing. Our President, Elder Victoria Carney, and the Council of Elders has heeded the cautions of our civic leaders and moved all large gathering services online. Our decision reflects the love of Christ as we endeavor to show that every person matters equally and, therefore, we will do what is good and appropriate to reduce the risk of exposing COVID-19 to vulnerable populations.

Until further notice, our campus will be closed to in-person gatherings with the exception of our feeding program. The LOVE Canteen will continue to operate on Thursdays from 5:30 until 6:30 PM. This program has proved to be a vital source of food for the community where we are located and we want to meet that need for as long as possible. To reduce the risk of COVID-19 exposure, we will only provide meals to go. Dining in will not be an option and food will be delivered at the door.

We ask for your continued prayers and support during this time as our volunteers work diligently to ensure the hungry are fed and the thirsty are given drink.

May God bless and keep us all.
