More than a church. More than a ministry.

We're family.

We are a 501(c)(3), not for profit Christian organization that strives to meet people's every day needs. Specifically, we target the six types of challenges Christ identified in Matthew 25:35-36: hunger, thirst, unfamiliarity, nakedness, sickness, Imprisonment.

While we recognize that this list is not exhaustive of the needs people have, we target these six as a starting point; and believe that by meeting these needs, we can help people discover the life Christ has prepared for them.

A world where every person in need understands what it means to be a member of God’s family.

To share God’s love with those in need (hungry, thirsty, naked, homeless, sick and imprisoned) by treating them like family.

- See Matthew 25:35-36

Our values are identical to the nine attributes representing the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. (Galatians 5:22-23).

Never let the politics of church interfere with the purpose of God's ministry.

Bishop V. C. Alexnader

our History

Organized in 1997 by Bishop V. C. Alexander and his late wife, Pastor Gail R. Alexander, Ministries of Christ began with one purpose: to demonstrate the love of Christ. For years, Bishop Alexander and his wife had served in churches and on non-profit boards to help spread God's love. Time after time, they witnessed firsthand how the presence of God's love transformed simple acts of kindness into life changing events. They vowed, with each encounter, to never let the politics of church interfere with the purpose of God's ministry.

Love unconditionally.
Give generously.
Speak honestly.
Act compassionately.
